I’d say sometime between the mid and late 2010s, if not as early as the late 2000s or early 2010s.

Late 2010s was still unique tho, the crazy SoundCloud Rap and Emo Trap Era were unique to the Late 2010s whether you liked it or not.
I'd say Early 2020s, it's like a mix between Late 2010s holdovers and overdone nostalgia for the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, even early 2010s. Hip Hop is basically 2019 era on steroids at this point too.
It's probably because of COVID tho, who knows maybe the Mid/Late 2020s will be super different.

The first half of the early 2020s(2020-mid 2021) for pop culture was decent and I enjoyed it. The second half however is just so empty.
