What are your first music-related memories?
My first musical memory is of listening to the Hi-5 theme song and Channel Nine endboard in Early 2002. 2002 would have to be the first year in which I can remember when certain songs were new/popular. For instance, I can remember when "Sk8er Boi", "A Little Less Conversation", "Hot in Here" and "No One Knows" were still new.

I'm pretty sure kiddie music like Raffi and the songs from Barney & Friend are my first exposure to music in general. However, these are the first pop songs I distinctly remember growing up:
I was only 4 to 5 years old in 1997, but even at that age, I heard constant buzz about the Spice Girls. This wacky song was absolutely everywhere at the time.
Most of the pop songs I heard in my mom's car were too soft and inoffensive for me to remember at all. However, I was always able to identify this track on the radio, thanks to its memorable chorus.
I totally forgot about this song for a long while, but once I discovered it while learning about the history of 90s pop music, it immediately rang a bell as one of the very earliest pop ballads I'd heard on the radio as a little tyke.

My first musical memory is also my first memory in general. It is of my Da coming to bed singing the Adam Faith hit 'What Do You Want?'.

I heard this in a birthday party when I was 1. (Apparently, this was on the same date that Princess Diana died.)

My first musical memory was when my mom was driving me to daycare and she played an ABC song for me on the radio. I remember singing along with her and on my way into the building.

Crows lost to Essendon by a less than a goal and Essendon great Mark Harvey played his final game on the day Di died. I was worried all day they weren't gonna show the start of the match due to that taking up air time. It was the last round of the season, a month later the Crows won the flag
