Flip phones and Windows XP - 2010 Part of me believes Windows XP was later. Windows XP wasn't overtaken in market share until 2011 by Windows 7, and there are some YouTube videos from then that still have Windows XP. For example: I think 2011 or even 2012 was the last year you could get away with using XP. By 2013 though, no way, and of course it was discontinued the following year.

I would say around 2010-2012 is the last time a lot of these things were socially acceptable or trendy.
Personally I'll do whatever I want to do, if others don't like it then screw them.

Happy Wheels was huge in 2012, and that's a Flash game, so I think pumpkin14 might be right, or it could've even been a little later.
