It's something I myself was actually ignorant of at the time, mostly because I was too young to really understand what the fuck it was about. I was into Minecraft and Adventure Time back then, give me a break LMAO.
Looking back, it's funny how much attention it stirred up at the time. The whole mentality was to bring Democrats and Republicans together with a video they could agree on. It's the sort of thing, looking back, that could've only existed in the early 2010s, before the modern-day culture wars between SJWs and Trumpists/Alt-Right types, and after the Bush-era neoconservatism vs Micheal Moore/Family Guy/South Park New Atheism America-mocking left-libertarianism.
