Oh damn, so sorry to hear that had to happen in the end. A least you know he wouldn't be in anymore pain now and he lived to a good age. Thank you. I’m aware the breed in general ages quick but I still wasn’t expecting it to end like it did. Worst weekend ever.

Thats nice he'll have someone to be with. Sounds like my dog, she's 13 and she's pretty aged but she seems happy lol, just loves to sleep and get attention. Yeah, I’ve got nothing to do now. He had to be put down earlier today due to many issues with only days left according to the vet. I only had him for about 8 years (he was roughly 15-16 years old) but it felt much longer.  I'm so sorry for your loss.

Not much of a story really. I heard “Great Southern Land” played one day on the radio after being picked up from primary school, it stuck with me. From that day I have pretty much liked most of their songs released.
