I am reassessing this year, it was pretty good actually, even channels like Nick seemed to get their groove back for the time being.
The whole year of 2010 felt like this. Pretty decent tbh. Had light a light elevated airy-ness to it. Not bad not bad...

Now you love 2010? Ain't nothing wrong with that. To me, 2010 and 2011 are underrated years. The world was a lot less stressful then. The culture was fresh and new too which is a huge plus for me.

That’s when lots of people got sick of the whole electropop/Jersey Shore vibe and wanted to move on to something else. I think electropop fatigue started around the time Lady Gaga's final singles from born this way started underperforming, she was the face of thate era after all. Her underperformance was a bad omen

I mentioned this earlier but late 2012 is when the early 2010s vibe started to fade for reasons such as
-Jersey Shore ending
-Windows 8
-Wii U launch
-Decline of electropop
-Instagram becoming popular
-Lets play YouTubers like PewDiePie exploding in popularity

Side note but besides Victorious Nickelodeon wasn't good at all in 2010. It was all SpongeBob reruns and Fanboy and Chum Chum.
Now Cartoon Network is a different story. Those guys legit began to improve in 2010 following their 2009 CN Real nadir. And 2011-2012 was the comeback of the network, before declining again starting in 2013.
