Well tomorrow is set to be a quiet new years eve where I am at least.  Not sure if this is also the case where you guys live, but the local NYE fireworks in my area have been cancelled due to the emergence of new cases in Wollongong. People have also been banned from attending the Sydney NYE fireworks and the government is intending on shortening the fireworks display down to 7 minutes. Definitely not much of a reason to celebrate at the moment, that's for sure.

Just reading our comments from almost 12 months ago...wow, they have aged terribly! Hard to believe what 2020 has turned out to be. You like to be optimistic about the coming year(s) ahead but who knows.... Well tomorrow is set to be a quiet new years eve where I am at least. Yep, it's a bit depressing to read back over them knowing what's happened since. I'm not confident that 2021 will be any better, unfortunately. Yeah, I had a feeling that would have been the case. It wouldn't surprise me though if people still try to make their way down into the city.
