Here’s an interesting list of places around the world who are yet to enter 2018. Among them are: Honolulu Anchorage Los Angeles Denver Uninhabited Baker Island (located just north of the equator in the central Pacific Ocean, southwest of Honolulu), it’s currently just turned 6.00pm yesterday evening. www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/full.html?sort=2Thanks for sharing that, it was pretty interesting to read! The west coast of America will enter 2018 in just under two hours. As of right now everyone in the world has ticked over to 2018 (bar Baker Island, 11.33pm, which still has just under 30 minutes to go! ). Talk about going back in time!

Tbh, I find it quite strange that Baker Island is still in 2017 when I'm currently In the 2nd of January. How is it possible to be more than 24 hours behind?!

It's 12 hours behind Greenwich Mean Time, which is the furthest time zone from the GMT. New Zealand is 13 hours ahead of GMT during daylight savings, so that means that New Zealand is 25 hours ahead of Baker Island. The island is uninhabited anyway, so no one would be celebrating New Years there.

It's would be strange to be so 'behind the times'.

I honestly can't believe New Years Eve is just a little over a month away. Where has that time gone?!
