Do you put a star or an angel on top of your Christmas tree?

Do you put a star or an angel on top of your Christmas tree? I put a star on top. I put a star, however I'm not fussed.

My preference is a star if I’m decorating it.  For many years I used to help put my grandparents tree up when they were alive and they always put an angle on theirs instead.

My preference is a star if I’m decorating it. For many years I used to help put my grandparents tree up when they were alive and they always put an angle on theirs instead. We have always put a star on top of our tree as well. Coincidentally, my Grandparents also place an angel on top of their tree. I can't say that I have heard of anyone putting an angle on top of their tree though.  Was it an equilateral, lol.

Yup, my grandparents were the only ones I’ve ever known who used to put an angel on instead (I remember one year when I was younger I put a star on it and the next time I saw it they had an angel on instead ).

Same as I said last year (yes, I’m aware you probably bumped this for newer members). I really can’t believe it’s Christmas again! Doesn’t feel like 12 months has passed.

Do you put equilaterals or isosceles triangles on your tree? I prefer isosceles if you were wondering.
