January 1, 2020- Kobe Bryant alive - NHL and NBA in midst of great seasons - Trump impeached - Wide variety of candidates for the Democratic Presidential Primaries - Moderate tensions with Iran - Everyone going about their lives as usual March 12, 2020- Kobe Bryant dead - NHL and NBA seasons suspended - Trump acquitted - Democrats left with two white men born in the 1940s - Heightened tensions with Iran - Coronavirus scare - Billie Eilish shows off her body  March 2020 The fact that January 2020 is already dated blows my mind. In my 19-year-old lifetime, I have not seen culture change THIS quickly.

Both Romanian songs that were HUGE pop hits in Europe that hardly sound alike. I also tend to deeply associate "Stereo Love" with the summers of the early to mid 2010s, so it's just weird to know that it came out all the way back in 2009 lol.

Basically, P!nk went from being a cookie cutter, r&b artist with limited creative control, to a tough, confident woman who became a role-model for many thanks to her empowering pop-rock anthems. She's huge here in Australia.

This is probably an unpopular opinion, but I honestly think the fashion of 2010 vs. 2019 is more different from each other than 2000 vs. 2009.

In 2003-2005, 21st century cars could barely be seen on the roads. By the time 2009 hit, you could see them all over the place.
