What it the last year that feels like another world in your opinion? For me it's 2012. I finally see 2011 and 2012 like belonging to a different world. It's crazy just how long ago the early 2010s were. Over 10 years ago now.

2019 as shocking as that sounds Yeah I do agree with you there. But I'm talking about a year that is very old in particular. Even though 2019 was a different world it wasn't that long ago, only three years ago. I'm talking about a year that is both old AND otherworldly.

Mine used to be 2007 or 2008 but recently got changed to 2012 by just how long ago the early 2010s feel now. It feels so old to me now.

Mine used to be 2007 or 2008 but recently got changed to 2012 by just how long a go the early 2010s feel now. It feels so old to me now. Yeah I feel like 2022 really drew the distance away from the 2010s post-COVID and everything... I think we're still in the COVID era. I just think it's because it was over 10 years ago now, I'm getting older, and it just feels very distant and old to me now. For me at least. Even looking at old home videos my parents look quite a bit younger in 2011. And the memories I have from then feel distant and like a different world now. I'm finally seeing that now.

Oddly enough I don't see 2013 the same way. Probably because it was such a big year for change.

I guess I meant Post-Pandemic then, in the way that 2020 feels very distant now in a way it didn't in 2021. 2022 is definitely a transitional year. I don't think 2022 is transitional yet. The WHO did not even declare an endemic yet. I think we're still in the 2020 COVID era now. I think 2023 will be the true transitional year. I don't think the queen dying is enough to signify a shift.
