I thought this could fit the thread.. I know however this event is almost 4 years old.. but it is still ongoing. I know fair few people who maybe want to discuss this issue. The thing i really don't get is.. How does a passenger plane go missing without a trace? I've read a few different articles about conspiracy theories.. such as highjacking, Shot down.. etc. I really feel for the wife of Paul Weeks, Danica Weeks who has two young children who probably will never see their dad again. And just yesterday they wanted to put a memorial up in Perth, Yet alone they haven't even found the wreckage of the plane since the search has been called off since January, but apparently a new mission is launching next month. But what do you think does the Malaysian Government/Malaysia Airlines know far more then what we do? www.perthnow.com.au/news/wa/mh370-danica-weeks-wants-wa-and-federal-governments-to-abandon-perth-memorial-plan-ng-b88702456z

Good idea for a thread! I can't believe that there is still a lot of mystery surrounding the disappearance of MH370, despite the fact that it disappeared almost four years ago (which is incredible to think about).

Throughout the entire investigation, the Malaysian Government has been reluctant in sharing details it has gathered over the disappearance. I believe there is more to this than what the public realises.

Like I can understand a Cessna going missing or something but how does a Boeing 777 go missing without a trace....even 4 years later. I bet Malaysia Airlines do know more than theyre letting on, I think they just don't want any extra negative coverage, especially with the shooting down of MH17 only months after the dispearnace of MH370.

I agree. The scrapping of there entire fleet of 777-200 aircrafts last year is saying something to me... they weren't even that old! I think alot of people won't fly MAS after these incidents and the Malaysiangovernment trying to cover things up.

While it is hard to make a judgement without any solid evidence, given that we know that MAS scrapped their entire fleet of 777-200 aircrafts, there's a good possibility a mechanical error may have contributed to the fate of MH370. Something would have spurred the decision to scrap the entire fleet altogether, and I really don't think it was just as a result of one Boeing 777 going missing.
