I have a soft spot for Liverpool as my beloved late cousin Peter supported them. I do as well, since they are my Dad's favourite team.

Liverpool lost 1-0 to Swansea, who are currently at the bottom of the ladder. How can they go from winning against Manchester City to losing to Swansea?

Tottenham superb in thrashing Manchester United. First goal took 11 seconds. Not only that, but Man United scored an own goal as well. Talk about rubbing salt into the wounds.

Karius (Liverpool's goalkeeper) made two blunders which essentially cost Liverpool the match. Having somewhat addressed the defence, surely Herr Klopp will now go out and buy a top-flight goalkeeper.

Karius' poor performance has just sealed his fate.

I know it's still only early days, but it's good to see Liverpool at the top of the table. Hopefully they can maintain their current form for the rest of the season and clinch their first title in 28 years! It's not looking good for West Ham at the moment.

Liverpool will choke. Man City or Chelsea will win it. You're probably right, although Liverpool do have a pretty good squad this year and I think they will at least finish within the Top-4.
