Do you prefer having your hair short or long?
And more specifically, how do feel about guys with long hair and girls with short hair?
for me I have long hair and I prefer it that way, mostly cause I look better with it imo and because I've gotten compliments on it. I haven't fully cut it since I was 12! 😂 To me I like seeing other guys with long hair if they can work it, short hair is honestly kind of boring to me.

I prefer to have my hair short, but I can't really grow my hair long anyway. My hair mostly just gets thicker, rather than growing longer. To be honest, I prefer seeing girls with long hair. Shorter hair can look good, as long as it's not like a buzz cut or anything.  However, my preference generally is for longer hair. As for males, I do generally think shorter hair works better, but i'm relatively impartial about hair lengths on males. It's not something I ever think about.

I just see it so much that it gets tiresome and I long for a new look in hair fashion.

I think it's because how honestly easier it is for you guys with short hair to keep it manageable. With long hair theres more effort you gotta put and not many guys may be up for that. Which I understand sometimes I have moments where I wanna cut it just because I don't feel like taking care of it like this XD also unrelated note, over hear I'm noticing a little revival of emo culture starting since 2017 so maybe soon long hair could be a common thing again. That's true. I know I wouldn't be bothered putting more effort into my hair, lol. That's interesting to hear. I remember I predicted once that Emo culture may make a comeback of sorts in 2020/2021, so if there are already signs that emo culture is being revived, it may happen!

Pretty much agree with you on these points actually.  Where I live it’s more common to see guys with shorter styled hair these days. Mind, just 10 or so years ago it was the complete opposite and very common to see longer hair, “dreddies” etc instead. For girls, longer hair just looks better on most, IMO. The pixie cut doesn’t look right on the majority of females to be honest.

I have longer hair as a guy (not long hair). I prefer to have long hair rather than short hair.
In terms of dating preferences, I also prefer to date a girl with long hair; I am not really into dating a girl with short hair.

What I was trying to say is, the real reason why he still looks masculine is more about the fact that he has his shirt off and looks likes he goes to the gym often, it has very little to do with his hair.
