So pissed off about what's been happening at work over the past few weeks. I work five hours, two days a week at one of my local Woolworths supermarkets and Jack (the Customer Service Manager) times how long it takes me to do my work. Today, one of my tasks was checking the expiry dates on the confectionary at the front registers. It's a big, time-consuming job, yet I was expected to have most, if not all, of it done within an hour. Jack knows I have a disability, yet he expects me to work as fast as everyone else. I've been in this job for nearly two years and, when I first started, everything was fine. No-one told me I was too slow, they just left me alone and let me get on with my work. All that changed when the manager who gave me the job was transferred to a different store and a pair of idiots took over. Currently seeking legal advice as I believe that what's happening is illegal. Being timed when I'm working is causing stress, anxiety and making me not want to go to work.

Had a meeting on zoom with someone from the legal services this morning. They said we're doing all the right things and the next step is to get in touch with Woolies HR Department. If we still can't get the issue resolved, we might need to speak to Fair Work Trade.
