I thought this would be an interesting idea for a topic, since we are all of different ages. Are you glad that you are the age you are for experiencing the 2010s, or do you wish you could have been younger/older?
Admittedly, I wish I could have experienced the 2010s at a much older age, namely because there is a chance I would have been able to better experience the '90s in such a scenario. I was in High School between 2012-2017. It wouldn't be such a bad thing, if I actually enjoyed the pop culture during those years. However, considering that I dislike most of the Top-40 songs and have never really gotten into social media, it's not really a time period I look back on with a lot of fondness.

I'm proud to be spending my teen years in the 2010's, and I personally think this is one of the best decades to be a teen, especially when you have social media to talk and hang out with your friends and stay in touch. I am proud to say that I have a smartphone during my teenage years as it is very easy to stay in touch with family and friends and it helps keep myself entertained, and it's easy to get help with homework too. I personally think the 2010's has also been good for TV as well.

I'd have far preferred to have lived the 2010s in my 30s instead of my late teens and early-mid-20s. I'm still at the age where most of my contemporaries are invested in current generational culture, yet hardly any of it resonates with me whatsoever. I feel like I live in a wasteland that has forced me into my own bubble in order to appreciate all the joys life has to offer.

I was very, very young when this decade was just getting started. It was an awesome experience. I remember when the release of the iPad made the rest of this decade look like it would be a highly futuristic and technologically advanced experience. It was like a an enormous version of the iPhone to me. My favorite show "The Walking Dead" was born in 2010 and I cannot get enough of that show! Want to binge watch your favorite shows on your smartphone anytime and anywhere? Get Netflix!

Although, I really wish that people weren't so addicted to them. I think it's sad how some people literally can't live without their smartphone. That's exactly how I feel as well. I feel as though i'm out of touch with pop culture already and I only turn 19 in two months time. It was like a an enormous version of the iPhone to me. My favorite show "The Walking Dead" was born in 2010 and I cannot get enough of that show! I'm a fan of The Walking Dead as well. It's annoying how long the mid-season breaks are.

Same here, I'm proud to be part of my class(class of 2019) since I get to become an adult at the very end of the decade and be in my freshman year of college when the 2020's start.

Sure I am proud of this decade, it's the only one where I spent my pre teens and end it off where I become 20 XD I had a lot of great memories here and experience milestones in this decade. I only hope the next decade will be better.

I was 17-26 this decade, and it was perfect. I would have preferred to maybe have been 19-28 and start out the decade as an adult and finish uni by the the time the mid-2010s got underway, but obviously the difference would be marginal.

As someone who was in elementary, middle, and high school in this decade, the 2010's surely molded me into who I am today.

I was mostly a kid during this decade 6-12(2010-2016) and I'm glad I got to experience the 2010s as a kid! That's why i consider myself as a 2010s kid more than just a wanna be 2000s kid i will be 14-15 at the end of this decade.

Btw I'm Frank998 on inthe00s. I'm actually really proud about being a teenager in the 2010s. It is a very interesting decade which is often underrated by older gens. I'm proud to say I'm a 2010s kid more than saying I'm a hybird, because I like this decade. You have smartphones, free Wi-fi, and as rainbow said, it is easier to communicate with people than before. Shows in this decade are more interesting and video games are more interesting and addicting because they are more developed. This decade for me is just cooler than the 2000s. Although I do get nostalgic about the late 2000s, I just think overall, that 2010s is better. My adulthood starts at the beginning of the 2020s, so I am glad that my teen years was in the 2010s.
