A thread to share and talk about random things that happen in your life, things you come across, random observations etc.
Twenty minutes ago, I went to my local BP service station to fill up with petrol. Anyway, I decided to use the new "BP Me" app, which allows you to pay for fuel through your smartphone without having to go in-store. It all went well and I filled my car up with petrol, but then, I went onto the app and it said that it didn't process any information/my order.  In the end, I ultimately had to go in-store and pay for the fuel as I normally would. It's just my luck that the app had to crash, even though my internet connection didn't drop out.

Hopefully, this thread is for random thoughts too.  Do you ever just sit there and wonder how your personal life and pop culture will be like 10 years from now? It's kind of weird thinking about it. I don't know, but it's also kind of cool, but then again you don't know how it will be like. Also, exactly 10 years from now you could be getting married or having your first kid, hell, it could even be the day you die (not trying to get too morbid here) but the present is just a normal day.  I don't know, I'm just thinking about how time works for some reason.

Even though, I've never really been too excited about the future, mainly because you don't know what it will be like, as you mentioned. I tend to think more about the past. I'm not sure if you have thought this as well, but what makes it even stranger, is when you can actually remember yourself predicting what the present time would be like. For instance, I remember thinking back in 2012 that 2018 is a "long time away". Now 2018 is the present time and time seems to have gone really quickly!

Wow, so earlier this evening I left my bedroom with the window open and the light on....I've just arrived back like 2 hours later and now there's just a ton of insects all over my room!

I actually remember thinking back in 2011 that in 2016 flying cars would be everywhere. Haha. There would have to be a lot of changes for that to have happened! Watching too much of ‘Back To The Future’ it seems.....

No mozzies for your sake?! Otherwise it will be a long sleepless night for someone. I can’t sleep knowing there’s one in my room as it constantly bites and that annoying buzzing sound!
