Spiders are like one of my worst fears. Even a small one is enough to get me pretty scared. The only time I'm not scared when I see spiders is if it's outside or if I see a picture of one.

I don't like spiders either. "Daddy-long legs" (the one in the photo I uploaded) don't worry me, because they're only small and harmless. However, I really don't like huntsmans. I'm not sure if they are in America or not, but they are really big, hairy spiders. They're harmless, but they look horrible.

If I saw those bugs in my house, I'd pack my bags and move to Jupiter or something.

Yeah, these spiders are very deadly, lol. On the day before my first day of university, I didn't go to sleep until 3AM because there was a spider on the ceiling. I got bug spray and pointed it upwards towards the spider and sprayed, but of course the spray fell back down and got into my eyes. Then I tried to throw slippers at it but kept missing. Finally, once the spider got low enough (my room's ceiling is roof-shaped), I managed to hit it with the slipper, but instead of getting squished it decided to FLOAT downwards--I swear it was practically flying--right onto my face and I screamed, and woke up everyone in the house. The spider ran into my drawers where my clothes were.

Thankfully, that's never happened to me before, but I couldn't even imagine how horrible it must be to have a spider fall onto your face. I wouldn't have been able to sleep, especially with the thought that it was still alive and ran into the drawers!

Huntsman spiders are awful. I've only seen two in my life though, one time I was visiting my Aunty in Sydney and I saw one in her kitchen and the other time I was at my friends house in NZ and I was in the backyard and I saw one on the side of the house and I went over and it just ran at like 100kmhr or something it was awful. Although, at least they are Bascially harmless in comparison to other species, just scary!

In a way, I kind of feel sorry for them, because they are completely harmless, yet most people try to kill them. You're lucky that you have only ever seen two in your life. I've seen quite a few! In fact, when I was 9, there was an entire family of Huntsmans in my bedroom at my Dad's house. I'm not even going to attempt to watch that video!

Spider earlier, got the spray out but he ran off. Thought he went behind the couch but he's not there, think it ran under it. Either way it's not dead.

It wouldn't be good if it was a huntsman. I would hate the thought of a spider still lurking around the house somewhere!

Oh don't worry, if he comes out from under the couch I'm gonna step on him so hard, his insides bleed. I feel like a knob though sitting here staring at the couch
