What is your first memory of using/seeing a computer?
My first memory of using a computer dates back to 2003, when I was 4. We had a PC at home, however I wasn't allowed to go on it. I remember my Mum only ever used it to send e-mails at the time, which is sort of funny to think back on now. My pre-school had a few Late '90s Macintosh computers and that's how I had my first experience with using a computer. I went on one of them at the time and was taught how to use the keyboard/computer mouse.

My first computer memory was probably sometime in 2005 when my father taught me how to use a computer.

I don't exactly remember my very first experience with a computer but I do remember one of my early experiences being with this game which I played frequently at my grandparents house around 2005 and 2006.

I don't remember the exact year, but I do know it was in the early 2000s. I remember that I use to play these online computer games with my mom, and also these educational computer CD games that use to be common.

When I started kindergarten in 2007, we had Windows XP desktops manufactured by HP with HP CRT monitor displays, my whole school district had them up until 2014. We had a educational computer programs such as StarFall.

These two games, on our second computer in my dad's study, circa early 1996: Eventually, once Windows 98 came out, we kept a PC upstairs in the bonus room for me to use. By then, I was still playing with some educational tools, but I don't think I really touched the above two much anymore, though I do have particularly fond memories of Freddi Fish. I mostly used Windows 98 to play games like RollerCoaster Tycoon, The Sims, and Lionel's Train Town. I still played a whole lot of educational tools throughout my childhood, but those were mostly confined to the Macintosh I got for my room in late 1996.

In fact I love '90s Point & Click PC games in general. Good stuff. My first computer memory is either drawing sprinkles on MS Paint or playing Windows Pinball in 1997. In terms of video games, I was obsessed with Freddi Fish and Putt Putt. I honestly don't know the very first memory, but that's what I remember doing. I've been trying to find the name of this video game I used to play. It was a Point and Click, took place at a school, and you would 'shrink' to get into some levels. It was definitely made in the 1990s. I can't remember what it was called. I remember a level involving play marbles. My search continues...

Mine is of playing on my grandparents Amiga Commodore when I was about 4-5 years old. Used to play Lemmings on it quite a bit.
Couple of years after that, the family PC with Windows 1995-96 installed (upgraded to 98). Used to muck around with MS paint, pinball, Solitaire, Minesweeper etc. Also played quite a few of the educational games from Disney Interactive.

My first computer memory was playing MS Paint on a Windows 98 in 2000 (I was 3-4 years old), which was pretty much the only program I was allowed to use back then.
