Tough. I do remember seeing Cop Shop. Parents never knew I was standing in the passage while they watched it. But I do always remember coming home from school to watch Sesame Street so that's probably it.

Nice idea for a thread aja675! My first TV memory is a very vague memory of me briefly watching Prime News Illawarra in Early-Mid 2001, at my Grandparent's house.

I remember seeing this in my aunt's house. I'm not sure if it was even 1998 yet:

I distinctly remember watching The Book Place every morning before I went off to preschool. Anyone else watch it?

I don't remember watching The Book Place. It was probably a bit before my time.

For some reason I thought that Book Worm puppet looked somewhat like...let's just say something else. Probably the last time that show was on TV was circa 2010 when 7TWO re-aired episodes including a younger Nuala Hafner!

Haha, yeah when I was much younger watching it I never really gave it a thought (naturally of course), but when I rewatched it some years later I thought the same thing actually! I also read years later that some thought Bookworm looked strikingly similar to that of former PM John Howard. I guess it kinda does lol. Yeah, I vaguely remember Seven airing reruns of it so it could’ve been around that timeframe.

And later classic Humphrey

I’m not familiar with that earlier opener actually. But even now, I still prefer the 90s opener. Yuck! “Gangnam Style” Humphrey? No thanks.

I cannot pinpoint my very first TV memory, but my first one that I could remember was watching blues clues and trying to jump into the TV, since the guy magically jump into pictures and having it become a reality.
