That’s the thing with Christmas Carols, they definitely don’t make much sense for Australian conditions unlike in other countries this time of the year. Aussie scorching BBQ Christmas songs are more appropriate! That's true. If I'm not mistaken, most (perhaps even all) of the notable Christmas carols with Southern hemisphere relevant lyrics were written and performed by Rolf Harris - no longer suitable to broadcast for obvious reasons!

Haha, Rolf Harris. Yeah I think you’re right about that. Perhaps Kochie and co. should do their own rendition of classic Aussie Christmas songs by Colin Buchanan and Greg Champion?! Such as......

Yet more brilliance from Holly Dalton on Gogglebox Australia.
*Dolphins on-screen* - "Is that a dugong?!"

Sorry, couldn't resist! I would be concerned if he said there wasn't. In all seriousness though, I really don't know how anyone could seriously question if there is internet in an area that people live in. It's 2020! I know Tasmania is behind the times, but they're not that far behind.

Someone in my Tafe class just asked a lady (who used to live down there) if there is internet in Tasmania... LOL. Well, according to them, they also probably think Malcolm Turnbull invented the Internet In Australia. Maybe we should ask EyewitnessTV whether or not Tasmania has internet! Sorry, couldn't resist! I would be concerned if he said there wasn't. In all seriousness though, I really don't know how anyone could seriously question if there is internet in an area that people live in. It's 2020! I know Tasmania is behind the times, but they're not that far behind. Yeah nah. Who really knows anymore?! Some people are truly a worry. Anyways, speaking of being behind the times, we are still a couple of decades ahead of Western Australia and Queensland and decade on South Australia.

My Dad saw a sign as we were driving which said "Canberra, 179km", which prompted him to make the comment that "Canberra must be over 3 hours away from here" (from Moss Vale, to any of our Aussie members familiar with the area). However, I said to him that Canberra takes only about 2 and a half hours to get there from my place (which is further afield) and to get to Canberra from where I live, you've got to drive along the exact same road that we were on at that time anyway. He then said, "that's coming from your place though, it would be 3 hours from here". That doesn't make any sense though, because we were closer to Canberra and if it takes 2 and a half hours to get to Canberra coming from a place that is further away in distance, it can't take 3 hours to get to it from where we were.

My Grandad came up with this while we were having lunch at Red Rooster this afternoon: "It's strange that you can get fish & chips at a place that sells roosters". Hmm, can you tell that my Grandparents very rarely go to Red Rooster, lol. It sells chicken, just like KFC does. Not roosters. I still remember this post. Looked it up again because of the Red Rooster discussion from days ago.
