A woman in her 50s asked me this morning if it was school holidays yet, even though there was a school kid walking along the footpath directly in front of her.

From Tafe tonight:
* "My throat feels like a desert". * "Do they have a cinema at the botanic gardens?"

Many people call the 2000s the "early 2000s" which is pointless and confusing.
Also they will call 2000s kids born from 2000-2009 when most 2000s borns aren't 2000s kids.

Early 2000s kids are NOT those born from 2000-03. That annoying mistake has been a thing lately where it actually confuses what 2000s kids are. I blame Instagram and twitter for referring people born in the 2000s especially 03-09 as 00s kids and not babies same thing with 90s babies.

Early 2000s kids are those born 1993-1995/96, and it blows my mind to think of a 2002 baby thinking of themself as an early 2000s kid (or mid-2000s kid, for that matter)

"They shouldn't do Halloween up in Campbelltown. The kids doing trick or treating will go missing".

This was on a discord chat. I'm not gonna say any names but someone seriously said that Kik is still popular because horny teens on Omegle still give out their Kik usernames. 🤦
Literally anyone who's a teen in 2019 will know that nobody uses Kik anymore.

They do that because it's illegal to send nude photos of yourself if you're a teen; you can go to prison for distributing child porn. Kik is encrypted so the police can't see it.

With Christmas around the corner and Carols In The Domain airing on Channel Seven this Saturday night, here's an absolute classic from the 2016 telecast: "It's getting rather chilly, I reckon it could even snow..." - David "Kochie" Koch and/or Samantha Armytage, breakfast TV and Carols presenters. When Sydney (where the event is held) doesn't get cold enough temperatures for snow during the Winter months of June/July/August, I'd find it incredibly hard to believe that snow could possibly fall here in December when it's one of our Summer months!

That’s the thing with Christmas Carols, they definitely don’t make much sense for Australian conditions unlike in other countries this time of the year. Aussie scorching BBQ Christmas songs are more appropriate!
