What are your thoughts on kindles? Do you prefer reading a book on a Kindle device or do you prefer being able to turn the page? I don't own a Kindle device, but I know that I would prefer reading out of a proper book.

I love my Kobo eReader. I prefer a physical copy too because I love the feel of books, but the eReader has its place. My library lets me digitally borrow books and I can read it on my eReader. No trip to the library necessary and no late fees. Very convenient. One way an eBook is more convenient than a physical book is when you're eating and you still want to read. You don't want to get the physical book dirty, but you have to put your fingers on it if you want to keep the book open. The ebook version stays open without any fingers Although while eating or commuting I simply prefer an audiobook over the other two.

Never used a Kindle but I do have a Nook Glowlight. My library also lets me borrow books digitally so that's super convenient and why I like to use eReaders especially for going out somewhere or on vacations. Being able to read in the direct sunlight and in the dark is awesome too. Nothing can beat the feeling of holding a book and actually flipping through the pages though.
