I know that this thread is entirely subjective, but what are songs that you like from bands/artists you're not particularly fond of? Here are a couple of my examples: Song: "Blurry" Artist: Puddle of Mudd Released: 2001
Puddle of Mudd may have been a "poor man's" Nirvana and they were often too reliant on their influences, but I think this song was a genuine attempt at composing something meaningful. It's a decent song and it definitely deserved the success it achieved, in my opinion. Song: "These Kids"Artist: Joel Turner Released: 2004I may not be a fan of rap/hip-hop, but I can appreciate songs of any genre if they are well composed. "These Kids" by Joel Turner is a great example of that. The vocals may not be the best, but the underlying message within the lyrics is worthy of recognition. All in all, it's a fairly decent song and if you like hip-hop, I would definitely suggest it. It's just a shame that the same can't be said about their other songs.

I don't really like most of Ariana Grande songs, however, this was one catchy song I really liked.

I don't particularly like Blink-182, but I don't mind "Dammit".

This, specifically for Cardi B, of course. It's too bad it's not actually the early '90s, because then I'd consistently like her in the same way I enjoy Left-Eye, not to mention she wouldn't have a Twitter account to spew out transphobic and racist rants that destroy her credibility as any voice of reason.

If i'm not mistaken, this is INXS' debut single. It was released back in 1980. You never would have thought that this new-wave band from Sydney would go on to release international hits such as "New Sensation" and "Never Tear Us Apart".
