I pretty much agree with this. Age 10 can be tricky sometimes since that is the average age people start paying more attention to the pop culture. Also, I just want to say don't listen to others who say you're trying to fit in just because you have your own definition of childhood. You did nothing wrong, and they don't have any evidence to prove that you are especially when they don't even know your birth year. You keep on doing you and keep up with the posts. I enjoy reading them. Thanks rainbow for the nice comment.  I'm not so sure why that other guy was being so critical. Did he seriously expect to find my opinion in a biology textbook or something?  Judging from his post, it seems like he did expect it for some reason. It's not your fault anyway. Let's just move on now.

I'd even go as far to say age 12 has more in common with early teens than childhood, to be honest. Yeah, I tend to agree actually. I can only speak from my experience, but I didn't really feel like a kid by the time I was 12. Ages 11-12 are more "preteen" years, rather than actual childhood years, in my opinion.

I can only speak from my experience, but I didn't really feel like a kid by the time I was 12. Ages 11-12 are more "preteen" years, rather than actual childhood years, in my opinion. In my experience, age 11 felt like a transitional age but still leaning more towards childhood. Age 12 was when things changed for me, both physically and mentally.

Your not yet a teen, but also not yet a child, so your a tweenager. Childhood for me ends at 10. Yeah, 11 and 12-year-olds are tweens. I honestly think tweens should be in their own little group, like how teenagers are in their own group, which is ages 13-19. 11 and especially 12 don't feel like childhood but at the same time, it isn't really considered a teen by the majority of people.

Ive always known it as
Birth to 1 year = baby
1 year to 3 year = toddler
3 year to 8 year = child
8 year to 12 year = tween *i actuslly hate this phase and prefer bratchild lol as most kids I know this age specially my own are the spawn of satan*
12 year to 20 teen

What ever happened to the ranges such as 3-10 and 3-11? At age 12, you're firmly in puberty. The ages 3-10 range makes sense because ages 2 and 11 are transitional years. 2 is transitional year into childhood, and age 11 is usually when puberty starts.
