I actually changed my mind about Late 2018 being the end of the Core 2010s, I feel like its Spring 2019 because there were a fair amount of Mid/Late 2010s culture still hanging on in Late 2018/Early 2019. Curious to know, why spring 2019?

What mid-2010's culture was still hanging on in 2018/2019? IMO the mid-2010's were already gone by like mid-2017. Like I said, there were still a fair amount of Mid/Late Core 2010s culture that somehow lingered into spring 2019 like Dancehall/DJ Snake, Future Bass, Game of Thrones, Bezelled phones still somewhat being standard, and more. Future Bass had its last breath in Early 2019 with Marshmello, along Dancehall songs by Ed Sheeran and 'Taki Taki.' As for Late 2010s influences, Billie Eilish was heard of in Late 2018, yes, but she wasn't a full culture force until Spring 2019, and Lizzo didn't have her breakthrough yet. The Lo-fi mood wasn't fully established until Early 2019, and while Emo Trap took over Mumble rap thanks to Juice WRLD and other acts, it remained somewhat competitive with Blueface's Thotiana. I will agree though that Tik Tok and Airpods had their breakthrough in Late 2018, I was just confused in choosing which time did the Core 2010s really end, was it Late 2018 or Mid 2019? I decided to average out my answer as Pure Late 2010s culture wasn't fully established until Spring 2019, and thats when the majority of Mid/Late Core 2010s elements died out

TL;DR? I realized my answer was too long, sorry -Billie Eilish, while she popped off in Late 2018, she wasn't a huge cultural force until Spring 2019 -The DJ Snake/Dancehall sound was still fairly relevant until Mid/Late 2019 -Future Bass didn't completely die until Early 2019 -A few major shows like GOT ended in Mid 2019 -Third wave trap rappers werent complete until Mid 2019 with Lil Nas X and DaBaby
