I don't think many people here play ROBLOX given that most of you guys are adults, but has anyone ever played ROBLOX before? I was just scrolling through the ROBLOX website just now after having not been on it for quite some time. My favorite roleplay game is still Work At a Pizza Place. I don't think I will ever stop getting addicted to that game unless they did an awful update for it. I love how you can go to other peoples parties. I remember in the summer of 2017, me and my friend threw a party at my house on that game. He was the DJ playing some trap music and a lot of people came. I also really like the game Audio Visualizer. I played that a lot in the summer of 2017 as well and it was a game that I found out about at that time. I remember when I always used to play "Boys vs. Girls Island Wars" every day in the summer of 2013. It was an addicting game. I remember dressing my character up as a guy so I could get to the boy's team without being killed.
However, I also feel like ROBLOX has really gone downhill since about late 2013. Starting in about late August 2013, ROBLOX started to become a bit more strict with their chat filters. However, it was nowhere near as strict as today where even innocent words are now hashtagged.
In September 2013, they bumped the price of clothes, making them about 25 ROBUX and 100 tickets, when before they were only about 5 ROBUX and 5 tickets. New players without BC would get 10 tickets a day, meaning they would have to wait 10 days just to buy a piece of clothing.
In about July or August of 2014, ROBLOX changed the way their new players looked. Pre-summer 2014, new male players wore a simple ROBLOX cap and new female players wore a Pink haired messy bun. Here is how they looked:

In April 2016, they got rid of tickets, causing new players to be limited to what they can buy. This update caused them to lower the pricing for clothes, and most clothes are about 5-10 ROBUX now. This was a true sign that ROBLOX was getting even more greedy.
Starting in about 2017, a lot of parents started complaining that ROBLOX was an unsafe website for children. There has been news about parents telling stories about their children in dangerous situations on ROBLOX on the news.
All of these reports caused ROBLOX to become even more strict with their chat filter. In the summer of 2017, ROBLOX got rid of some of its subforums because the forums were becoming difficult to moderate. They got rid of OT (Off Topic) RT (ROBLOX talk) and ATR (All Things ROBLOX) they merged these subforums into one big subforum called RN&D (ROBLOX News & Discussion) causing people from different subforums to have flame wars over which subforum was better. (I used the ROBLOX forum a lot, so I know how shocked and mad everyone was.)
The previous update didn't last long, however. In December 2017, the worst update happened. ROBLOX got rid of its entire forum that really brought the whole community together. They said in their ROBLOX blog:
"After much consideration, Roblox has decided to close the Roblox public forums at forum.roblox.com/forum/1.6k. We believe the Roblox public forums are no longer capable of providing a positive environment and have been proven to be prone to excessive abuse. This change does not impact the developer forum as the environment here continues to be positive and collaborative."
The ROBLOX forums were a great place to go to if you didn't want to play any games on the front page. People had to say goodbye to the help section forum now because there is no other way you can easily get help now. I had about an estimate of 1,500 posts on there because I went on it a lot. I posted a lot in the OT section and met some people.
Now in 2018, I really believed ROBLOX has changed, and unfortunately not for the better.
