As the title suggests, did you have a bedtime when you were a kid? I only had a bedtime on schoolnights. On Friday and Saturday nights, I could go to bed whenever I wanted to.

Up until I was about 8, although it wasn't really a set time it was just whenever my parents went to be or I felt like it.

No, I made my own bedtime. My mom tells everybody about it. When it hit 10PM, I would rudely tell all the guests in the house to leave because it's time for bed, and I'd force my parents to go to bed too I usually went to bed at 10PM by own volition, up until I was about 12, then I slept whenever.

I had a bedtime on school nights. I had to go to bed around 9:00 PM, but I always used to secretly go to bed later and sometimes I was caught.

My Mum was really strict with when I could go to bed on school nights. I had to go to bed at 10:30pm throughout my entire time in High School, even in Year 12. Sometimes I was able to stay up until 11pm, but only on the rare occasion. Even though, when I compare it to when my friends had to go to bed, it's not too bad. One of my High School friends had to go to bed at 9pm every school night. No, I made my own bedtime. My mom tells everybody about it. Haha. Why 10pm, in particular? When I was in primary school, I tried to stay up as late as I possibly could!

I pretty much had a bedtime for most of my life at 9 pm and by 11th grade I finally got bumped onto 10 pm. All of this was on school nights of course.
Now that I’m in college my parents pretty much don’t care since I’m out of regular school (tho I secretly always would stay up later anyway haha)

I think it was because my mom experimented with trying to get me to bed at 10PM at one point. The experiment was perhaps too successful

I had a bedtime on school nights. I had to go to bed around 9:00 PM, but I always used to secretly go to bed later and sometimes I was caught. This sounds very familiar! My parents usually told me to “get to bed” at around 9pm on school nights, too. However, more often than not these things used to “go in one ear and out the other” as they do. I remember my parents old house used to have a hallway that would come off the kitchen and wind around and connect up to the main lounge room. There used to be this sliding door at the end that had glass in it which led to to the lounge room itself, which me and brothers would secretly sit/lay behind it for hours just watching TV (which again we technically weren’t allowed to) with neither mum or dad knowing until some years later what we were doing (as it turned out the TV was facing the same way so it worked out perfectly for a very long time! ).

That's a pretty clever thing to do! How did your parents find out what you and your brothers were doing, if you don't mind me asking? It's impressive that you and your brothers were able to get away with it for so long!

On School-nights yes, from Kindy to Year 4 I had to go to bed at 8:30pm until Year 5 - 10 I would go to bed at 9:30pm from Year 11-12 I can stay up as long as I can if I had to study/finish assessments, at times I would stay up until 11:30pm. Now that I left school, I don't have a 'bedtime'.

On School-nights yes, from Kindy to Year 4 I had to go to bed at 8:30pm. As I mentioned earlier it was mostly a 9pm bedtime (or thereabouts). However, when I was in Kindy and through to the first couple of years of Primary school, I had to be in bed no later than 8-8.30pm.
