I read an article in school that pushes for parents to not allow their children to play tackle football until they're in high school because their upper bodies, especially their neck, aren't strong enough to counteract with the head bobbing.
As for me, I personally think banning everyone under the age 14 from playing tackle football is a bit too far. I would say they should at least have their parents permission before playing, and it should be up to the parent to decide if they want their child to be in tackle football or not.

The thing is, if kids want to play gridiron or other high-contact sports, they're likely going to find a way to do it, even if the sport is banned at schools. I personally don't agree with a ban, although I can see the argument for it. I agree that it should be up to the parent to decide whether the child will be able to participate in tackle football.

I don't think the ban would actually help. Kids are very rebellious. As previously mentioned, they'll find another way around to play it, so proposing a ban on tackle football wouldn't do too much. In addition to that, anyone could get injured from tackle football, not just middle school and elementary school students.
