Songs can connect with you on a deep and personal level. Sometimes, songs can connect with you in a way that it gives you the sensation of "goosebumps". What songs give you goosebumps?
I'm not sure if it's just due to nostalgia or if I subconsciously connect with the lyrics, but this song always gives me goosebumps. I personally think it's one of the best songs of 2008. It's ironic though, because when the song was released, I didn't really care much for it. Mind you, "Dream Catch Me" was overplayed to death when it came out (it peaked at #5 here and stayed on the charts for 32 weeks!), which is probably why I wasn't too bothered about it at the time.
This is one of the very few songs which brings me close to tears. The music video (and the song itself) is very powerful.

For the most part, if a song gives me goosebumps, then that suggests it's one of the greatest tunes of all time, in my opinion. Off the top of my head, these send shivers of awe down my spine:
(Again, mostly without the distractingly outdated video)
The more famous version by the songwriter himself makes me laugh, but the one recorded by Ms. Branigan is genuinely moving.
For some reason, this also gives me goosebumps whenever I hear it:
I suppose I'm just swept away by the big production, as well as the thought-provoking subject matter. It's really corny but also really deep simultaneously, and coupled with the "In My Life" on steroids production, it's quite an impactful track. I definitely like this song a lot, but I'm still surprised by just how much my hairs raise whenever it turns on.

The very definition of bad ass rock music XD and I dream to one day play that solo. I always imagine a bad ass battle going on when this song plays while it’s lightening and then boom! It gets sunny.
i remember first hearing this in 2015 when I was visiting family and I was pretty sad until this song came on the radio and I felt like I could take on the world again.
