They are. Not many people recognize them as an era and the early 00s are far more popular than the mid-late 2000s I think mostly because of the recession and degraded watered down 2000s culture is the reason why late 2000s get a bad wrap. The 2008 recession was almost just a minor footnote compared to the 2020s depression though. I think in light of how bad things currently are, the late 2000s will be redeemed.
