We need to do series as well. I don't remember all the cartoons, I was thinking someone who was younger then would post some essential animations.

Well if you really want that authentic 2000s kid experience, a SpongeBob DVD is MANDATORY. I personally have tons of them, but personally, I’d go with the Complete 2nd and/or 3rd season, so you can watch every episode from those great seasons. As for movies, pretty much every Pixar movie from the 2000s + Toy Story 3, their last movie to have a 2000s vibe. Shrek 1 and 2, of course too. Everything else is optional.

Avatar’s a great movie, but it feels more like something you watch on Blu-Ray rather than DVD.

Scary Movie 3 and 4 are 2000s parody films that capture the zeitgeist of the early-mid 2000s pretty well, especially all the horror movie trends like The Ring, Grudge and Signs. The first 2 are probably the most decent ones but I feel like the first one was more about where horror movies were in the late 90s rather then the 2000s.
