I hate solo piano classical. Something about the piano's tone simultaneously bores me and annoys me when it's not accompanied. It's too dry of an instrument to stand out on its own. Don't get wrong me, I do love myself some classical, but it needs to be orchestral or chamber or choral or any other format than solo piano. I feel the same way with solo piano jazz and stride music (ragtime music is great though).

Most pop music from any era. R&B beats it by a long mile IMO.
Rlly the only thing keeping me invested in modern music is the Hip Hop and R&B.

Basically you hate modern things. So basically you like shitty modern things like modern garbage mainstream music? Damn why are you so hostile. It’s not directed at you. All I am saying is that he could be a bit more open minded than that. There is plenty of good music from 2000-now if you look hard enough. Modern doesn’t mean bad. Shitty music always existed no matter what time period it is.And yes I enjoy modern music and I’m sorry if you hold a grudge against me for that.

Not entirely. There is good music in every era, just not a big chunk of commercial top 40 or radio or mainstream imo, especially in Y2K era to the present. Even though almost all decades have cringe stuff. There was a better balance of genuine music next to the bad stuff especially 2000-2005. Mos Def and outcast were still putting out quality music, you some really solid garage rock revival, post hardcore/alternative metal/punk like queens of the stone age, cky, akaline trio, the used, andrew wk on MTV 2 and within the mainstream. Mid to late 2000s to the present you still get good underground hip hop, industrial, punk, black metal, and experimental rock every now and then opposed to earlier even though some of the music isn't as innovative and rock doesn't have much of a genuine presence in the mainstream.

The point of this post is write what genres you DON'T like, NOT which one's you like. He didn't say which genres he liked. He's claimed that the early 2000s and other periods had good music multiple times, just not mainstream pop, but he's free to like whatever he wants. Who are you to say to be more open minded? Why don't you be more open and listen to more 1920s and 1990s music for example music instead of cringy modern trap and pop?

In fact, I prefer 2010-2016 music than 2017-present, so I’m not completely a modern music lover.

Basically you hate modern things. So basically you like shitty modern things like modern garbage mainstream music? No one likes an instigator, and that's exactly what you were doing by adding fuel to the fire and trying to provoke a reaction from mc98. Consider this as a warning. If you continue to do it in future, it will be taken further.

If you continue to do it in future, it will be taken further. Hahahaha! First of all, nice try. I am not afraid of you. Secondly, assuming that someone does not like ALL modern things is derogatory and insulting exactly like assuming someone does not like ANY music from the last 2 decades as if they are out of touch or strange or have issues. Everyone is entitled to dislike as many music genres as possible and mention it since that is the point of the thread. There was no fire, since this is about music, not personal issues. If that was the case, then mc98 would have taken it personally and there would have been an issue. This is between us.
