It's been 4 years since this song from Drake was released. It became to be the biggest songs of 2018. I listened to it the other day and I wonder if it would still sound fresh today? I don't think it's completely dated and out worldly but it's no longer the standard sound for today's trap rap.

"Not old but not fresh" sounds about right. You could totally get away with listening to music like this, but it's no longer representative of the sound of modern rap.

I still cannot get into this song, it's so sleepy and lethargic. Who thought this was a good idea? it's more of an R&B song than a rap song. I like it. On the topic nothing from 2017 or 2018 sounds "old", 4-5 years ain't gonna be "old" lol. Not fresh sounds right.

I still cannot get into this song, it's so sleepy and lethargic. Who thought this was a good idea? it's more of an R&B song than a rap song. I like it. I didn't mind most of Drake's sadboi songs. Like "Hotline Bling" is a perfectly decent song. But this is too much.
