Inspired by Nightmarefarm latest post about most y2k songs, I decided to do one for the movies. IMO, the movie that captured the Y2K energy and aesthetically the most is... "Best Movie Ever!"

This is my pick. Cameron Diaz, starts with a nu metal song, Final Fantasy VIII is played at one point, kung fu action, ends with a Blink-182 song. Has that fun, colorful Y2K vibe with a bit of edge to it.

Has that fun, colorful Y2K vibe with a bit of edge to it. I watched the movie again last night. I don’t know if you saw this but in one scene, Dylan (played by Drew Barrymore) wore a Stone Cold Steve Austin T-Shirt. I can definitely see why you chose this movie as the quintessential Y2K flick. My favorite Y2K Movie for sure🙂❤️
