Why was the response and handling to COVID-19 so different when these virus started to spread, it seems like they just came and went and nobody talks about them anymore. Corona virus epidemic has lingered on for so long and changed the culture far more then when then these viruses ever did, masks weren't even a thing when Swine-flu spread. What made COVID stop the world ?

Back then it was on the news, and even my teacher talked about it at the time, but it was pretty much a non event, no one wore masks and South Park did an episode on it. Like we knew about it but no one even cared.

It's because those viruses were somewhat legitimate whereas today's plandemic is all about control.

Because it didn't spread as fast as COVID did

The Sars thing was such an unevent here in the states that I forgot about it until Covid was a thing
