I notice another trend that took place during the 2000s era. Around the tail end of the 1990s-2006ish Most music videos (well mostly Hip Hop/R&B music) during that time were filmed at a tropical paradise, beaches, or the video was set during the summertime. I like to call this aesthetic: "Urban in Paradise".
The visuals cued for the videos of that time had the following:
- High Color Saturation
- Mid/High Contrast
- Attractive Video Vixens/Male Hunks
- Tropical Island
- Shot of the Ocean
- Sandy Beaches
- Summer Boating
- Palm Trees
- Cocktail Drinks
The Music Videos that captured this aesthetic are?
What are your thoughts on this aesthetic during that time? Love it? or not so much?

This saw a return in the mid 2010s, during the "tropical house" era
