I feel like Trump getting elected is a reaction to the SJWness that peaked in the mid-2010's. I think a lot of people see Trump as a breath of fresh air from the modern left. Honestly, with the exception of gay marriage, I've seen people support Trump for the reasons you listed. Honestly, the SJW phase is the main reason why I supported Trump in the first place. He was like a fly in the face of the pro-Democratic Party MSM (ABC, CBS, NBC, etc) to me at the time. Exactly. The mid-2010's were a time where SJW's were at their peak and while people thought this would make the world even more progressive, it actually backfired in the long-run and that's how Trump won. People were getting tired of them and thought they represented most of the left. It's also the reason why anti-SJW's are a thing now. If SJW's never existed, I actually don't think Trump would've won.

I don't like actual sjws but the anti-sjws can be just as butthurt for things that shouldn't be worth angry about.

Both sides get offended and cry over the smallest things.

I get the feeling that the last few years of the 2020s are going to be very transformational for technology. I think by 2028, self-driving cars will have dropped down in price for middle-class families to be able to afford them. They'll probably still be around the 50K-60K mark, however they will have become in reach for people who are not affluent and on big incomes.

Since the year 2020 is just over two and a half years away, I thought it would be interesting if we made predictions for the next decade. Here are my predictions: *Emo music and fashion will experience a short revival in the Early 2020s, as people will become nostalgic for Mid 2000s pop culture. Teenagers during the Early 2020s will be raving about the look of "old" Mid 2000s bands such as Panic At The Disco and Fall Out Boy. I was actually sort of right with this prediction, lol. E-boys have now become a thing:

To be honest, I didn't even know that it existed as a trend until I saw a post on inthe00s a few days ago.

Why do you and Early2010sGuy not like eboys? I remember hating on emos back in the day because they were HUGE attention seekers. Sounds like eboys with how popular they are on Tik Tok a similar thing might be going on here.

All they do in the video is make weird and oddly sexual body and hand gestures...for no particular reason. They honestly give me a weird feeling every single time.

Ngl I do like some of the eboy style BUT I have noticed a lot them seem kinda smug. It’s still in an attention seeking way I guess, just a little different from emo in the sense that they actually think they’re cool, not so unique and misunderstood or whatever. There are just regular basic girls really into eboys and that wasn’t as true for emo dudes. (Not that there weren’t emos who did it for the cute emo girls because there totally were.)

I've been seeing more eboys pop up on gay dating sites. And tbh I'm really into it. Unfortunately so far it seems they're only into other eboys

Like this kid's (unfortunately just the hair, not the looks)

The “cool and misunderstood” thing was fully a second-wave emo persona, or whatever you might call it. Check out Midwest Emo from the ‘90s, it was nothing like that at all. I’m not saying those guys were smug or anything, but it wasn’t associated with gloominess and make-up like anything that came after it.
