 It has been over a decade since flip phones were the most popular form of cell/mobile phones. Just out of curiosity, have you ever owned a flip phone? Personally, I've never owned a flip phone. I was in my core childhood (ages 5-10) when flip phones were popular, however it was generally deemed unacceptable at the time for a child to have their own mobile phone device. I didn't get my first phone until December 2011. By that point, smartphones had made flip phones obsolete and the former had become the most popular form of mobile phones.

Yes. I had it when I began High School in 2009 and it lasted me until 2011 when I switched to a smartphone.

Yup. I owned a Samsung, which I had for a few years before upgrading to a smartphone.

No, I owned a "chocolate bar" style phone back then (2006-2010), as it was called. The Motorola C139

Yeah I had one in elementary school for a short while (but it didn’t work) and by freshmen year of high school I got a keypad phone that you couldn’t flip. It wasn’t until 2015 when I finaly got a touch screen.

Strongly doubt anyone my age or around my age owned a flip phone. And even if they did they were already obsolete by then.

Yes and it had no camera on it and was still not user friendly! That was back in...'08 maybe? I had to ask someone how to navigate the features. When I got my slider phone and could text, that was exciting!
