Fifteen years ago today, my favourite childhood album was released; "Meteora" by Linkin Park. I can actually remember when the album came out. "Meteora" was released just two weeks after my 4th birthday and it was around that time that I started to like Linkin Park. "Faint" was one of my favourite songs as a 4 year old. I can't believe the album is now 15 years old!

Ten years ago today, Lady Gaga's debut single, "Just Dance", was released. The single was ultimately responsible for popularizing electropop in the mainstream.

On this day twelve months ago, Chris Cornell (the lead singer of Soundgarden) took his own life, at the age of just 52. I still can't believe he's gone.

You know, my friend and I were just talking about him yesterday and how he went to one of Linkin Parks concerts. He was a big fan of them until he stopped listening to them due to their repetitiveness in their later songs. Still, there's no denying that In The End was one of the most important songs of their career. May he RIP.

It's interesting to hear that your friend went and saw them live. I did as well back in 2007 and it was such a great experience!

On the 18th September 1995, 23 years ago to the day, Garbage's breakthrough hit was released. It's hard to believe that it was released that long ago.

Today is the 10th anniversary of Michael Jackson death Hard to believe it has been 10 years! I still remember exactly what I was doing when I first heard about the news. It was 8.30am in the morning on the 26th June (since we're ahead in time) and I had just turned the loungeroom TV on to put it on the Today show. The news of his passing was the first thing I heard about after just getting out of bed.
