Sad news. I didn’t mind some of their songs like “Joyride”, “Dangerous” “The Look” and “How Do You Do!”

I also learned that Marie Frederiksson, the singer of the duo Roxette, almost died the same day Wow, brutal beginning to the week. R.i.p.

Marie was beautiful and talented. Despite having ultra short hair, she never looked anything other than feminine.

Sad news. I've been reading up on Marie Frederiksson's past since hearing of her passing and she was first diagnosed with a brain tumor way back in September 2002. What makes her passing all the more tragic is the fact that her tumor was successfully removed seventeen years ago. It's just a cruel twist of fate that a recurrence of her diagnosis would be the thing responsible for taking her life so many years later. I was never a huge fan of Roxette's music, although I do really like "The Look" and "Joyride" in particular. Rest in peace Marie.

I see where you are coming from, Shark. My cousin had his leg amputated at 17 due to bone cancer. But the cancer was still there and spread through him and he died of secondary lung cancer at the age of 20.
Not keen on 'The Look' but I did like the rest of their output. Per's hair used to make me laugh though.
