Did the redneck catfish use that first video? www.thrillist.com/entertainment/nation/weird-karaoke-videos-explainedThis is only half of the story though. This is about the karaoke video industry in the US, and the karaoke VCD's I had approximately 20 years ago mostly used footage from Australia and New Zealand, and a little bit of British Columbia footage too, but not much, like one video per disc.

Did the redneck catfish use that first video? Wanna know who my karaoke video crushes are? Here they are: 1. The guy from the first video. 2. The guy in the second video with the black suit and short hair.

You ever been to the Canadian territories up north (Nunavut, Yukon etc.?)
You ever visited the US, if so are there any places there you’d say feel more like Canada than the US?
What’s the difference between Canadian football (CFL) and American football (NFL)? Which is better?
What was the coldest Canadian winter you’ve experienced? On the flip side, what was the hottest summer?
Favorite hockey player?

You ever been to the Canadian territories up north (Nunavut, Yukon etc.?) No, they are very inaccessible and not made for tourists. A bottle of water there costs $20, they ride snowmobiles instead of cars, very harsh lifestyle. And as you can imagine, the idea of visiting a winter wonderland doesn't thrill most Canadians, they don't receive much tourism. I would love to go one day, but Alaska is higher on my list for being more accessible to tourists. You ever visited the US, if so are there any places there you’d say feel more like Canada than the US? I find the differences between Canada and the US to be minute. Other than geography I don't think anyone would be able to tell the difference in day to day living. I've been to New York and Florida and obviously New York is more similar to Canada, but there is no city as big as NYC in Canada, not even close. Some things that shocked me about Florida were billboard advertisements for guns, Jesus bumper stickers (bumper stickers in general tbh, they are not a thing here), and also the much higher prevalance of obesity (and morbid obesity). What’s the difference between Canadian football (CFL) and American football (NFL)? Which is better? I think the football field in CFL is slightly longer. I followed the CFL for a bit but I couldn't keep up. Tbh, I've spent more time watching soccer than football I would say NFL is better though, simply because it is more popular. That probably makes it more exciting? What was the coldest Canadian winter you’ve experienced? On the flip side, what was the hottest summer? Winter 2014/15. The temperature didn't go above 0 for more than 40 days, and there was a two week stretch where it was -30/-40 everyday. Winter 1998/99, 2000/01 and 2018/19 were the snowiest. Summer 2018 might be the hottest. I actually recorded all the temperatures that summer in the weather thread. We broke three 30+ days in May and even a 30+ day in October. It got up to 38 once and I think there were just as many 30+ days as 20-30 days. Summer in Ontario is usually pretty consistent though, sunny and 25-30 everyday, with thunderstorms and heavy rains that bring in some relief but also humidity. I love it! Except for a period around 2014/2015, I only ever watch hockey for the big games. I would say P.K. Subban for the Montreal Canadiens was my favourite during that period, to the chagrin of all the Toronto Maple Leafs fans that surrounded me.

This was probably already brought up some time ago, but if you ever decided to relocate and move to Australia (I know unlikely with our killer spiders and all ), which state/part of the country could you see your home of residence been?

You know, for whatever reason, I used to think Tasmania didn't have the man-eating spiders that plagued the mainland, but then you posted a picture with one of them right in your car, and all my dreams and child-like innocence were shattered then. I gravitate towards big cities, so it would have to be Sydney or Melbourne for me. I'm not sure which of the two, they both seem to have their own style. I heard Melbourne was more hip, and I do know one person from middle school who lives there. Northern Queensland looks so idyllic though, Tasmania as well. If it weren't for the alligators on the rooftop, snakes in the toilet, spiders in the home, and drop bears and Tasmanian devils in the backyard, I think paradise would look like coastal Australia.

I think @slowpoke1993 likes the look of Nowra. LOL I find that except for some Western Sydney suburbs, even the bad parts of Australia don't actually look bad at all, I mean, I don't even disbelieve that Nowra is a terrible place, but I think it's because of its citizens and not because of how it looks like.

Oh, and I forgot to say this: Anthroscape just got shut down. You see, that place has been pretty inactive and the mods were barely around, and a troll took it over by hacking people's accounts and making sockpuppets.

I heard some things about Western Sydney, them being the only part of Australia that voted against same-sex marriage in the referendum.
