Have you ever traveled overseas? I have, recently I visited Italy and I've traveled to the United States twice. I'm going to Australia this Christmas to see my cousins.

I know you asked me this question in my thread, but I thought I would ask you the same thing. What is your opinion of the Britpop scene?

I know you asked me this question in my thread, but I thought I would ask you the same thing. What is your opinion of the Britpop scene? It was a great genre that I wish lasted longer than it did. It was only popular for about 2 or 3 years in the mid 90's but then when Oasis disappointed fans with their third album (Be Here Now), the genre was dead.

Yeah, I agree.
How did you become interested in history? I know you have mentioned before that you're particularly interested in learning about the Early-Mid 20th Century, so I was just curious to know how that came about.

Well my interest in history goes back to when I was about 8 or 9 when my grandma used to tell me about her childhood memories of the early days of World War II when Britain was bombed by German air-raids. However I didn't become interested in other history topics until a few years later, when I saw the film Back To The Future for the first time. Not sure if you've seen it, but in the film he travels back in time from the 1980s to the 1950s and it showed the cultural differences between the two decades. When I saw this I wondered what the other decades of the 20th century were like and after doing some research, I soon became fascinated with 20th century history.

It's good that you took an interest in history at a really young age. In regards to Back To The Future, I have watched the movie before, but I have only ever watched parts of it, to be honest. Did you study history as a subject in school?
