I'm so tired of everything being in list format, especially in videos where it's harder to skip through. Some things makes sense, like a person's set of favorites, but I swear everything is becoming "6 reasons *insert random topic*" when it would be way more sensible to not break it up that way. Basically it's clickbait. It's as if these lists set off something in the brain to make you need to know what's there, when you otherwise might not even care.

I'd rather vacation in Asia than in Europe. Nothing to do with my recent UK trip, I always felt this way How come?

Most reality television programs in the dating/relationship/wedding genre are more about people trying to boost their media profiles than actually finding love.
Well...possibly more a fact, but if an opinion I'm sure it's not an overly popular one amongst mainstream Australia if the ratings + insane amount of social media commentary for programs like The Bachelor/ette and Married At First Sight in recent years is anything to go by.

I don't know if posting this is allowed on here, but I think that 1986 was the definitive year of the 80's. Most people will probably say that 1984 was the definitive year of the 80's.
Synthpop, new wave (though declining), glam metal, and thrash metal were all popular that year.

I agree. I'm sure there would be a few people who genuinely apply to these shows in the hope of finding true love, but the vast majority of applicants are seemingly only there just to seek out their 15-minutes of fame. However, with that said, the extent to which that would be the case would depend on the show, IMO. I think a program such as The Bachelor, for instance, would attract more of those type of people over a series format such as Farmer Wants a Wife. I believe it's significance in a relationship is overstated, in any case. Personally, establishing an emotional and spiritual bond with a potential girlfriend/partner is much more important to me than the thought of having sex with them. Generally speaking, 1986 was a culmination of pop culture traits that were popular in different parts of the decade. Also, Run-DMC's cover of "Walk This Way" was released in 1986, which was arguably the single which helped break hip-hop into mainstream consciousness. This I don't agree with. M&M's are nice!

Hopefully I don't sound like an ageist, but I think that Gen Z will be worse than Millennials.
The fact that there are a lot of far left and far right people, the fact that some actually seem like "tech zombies", and the fact that I do not like the pop culture that they are part of, upset me greatly.

Idk if this is an unpopular opinion but I find complaining about something to be so satisfying. Like it gives me good reasons to constantly bitch about something. It's especially satisfying when you're complaining about it with someone else and y'all just bitch together about what it is that you're complaining about and it can bring you closer together.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see. It's probably a bit too early to judge what Gen Z will be like though, because Millennials still have a significant influence on current pop culture and most members of Gen Z are not over the age of 18 yet. IMO, the current situation can best be compared with Gen X's influence on pop culture/society in the Mid-Late 1980s. The pop culture of the time was undeniably targeted at members of Gen X, but the majority of the musicians/producers were Baby Boomers. It wasn't until 1991, when alternative-rock emerged into the mainstream and Hip-Hop cemented itself as a cultural force, that Gen X really formed their own coherent identity and flourished in the mainstream. I think a similar thing will happen with Gen Z in the Early 2020s.

We probably could already be able to make a judgment in regards with the older members, but not the core or younger members.
