That's a really good photo! I've never been able to take a photo of lightning. I have. I managed to capture a couple on my phone a few months back! (It was just a coincidence)

@zampakid nice photo The heat wave arrived, but first we got hit with 25cm of snow on Monday morning, so beach plans were cancelled. It got up to about 2C on Monday. Today it's been hovering around -2C and snowing intermittently. It's so liberating to be able to take your hands out of your pockets and not feel like your hands are going to fall off. I missed that.

Dammit. It was really humid today so when I went to the mall, I was waiting and I left the AC on without realising and of course I flattened the battery in my car dammit! ************

It's a shame your plan to go to the beach was cancelled, but at least you can finally enjoy temperatures above freezing point. Dammit. We reached a high of 10C today. It was beautiful. The birds were chirping, the children were laughing in the playgrounds, and I could see the grass again. Although it wasn't literally beautiful because it was also raining a little bit and the snow and sidewalks turned black/brown with slush. Tomorrow is going to be interesting. It will be 7C and raining in the morning, but the heatwave will pass us and temperatures will plummet 25 degrees to -18C (windchill: -27C) and the rain will turn to snow. That rainwater will turn into ice, the evening commute will be a complete mess.
