10th August High: 26°C / Low: 15°C. Mostly sunny. My own version of daylight saving time comes to an end today. The sun sets early today (at 8:29PM), which means I can set my alarm backwards to 4:30AM (from 5AM) and still get 8 hours of sleep

The sun sets early today (at 8:29PM) Here in Sydney, 8.10pm (or thereabouts) is the latest you'll see a Sunset at the peak of Summer, so I'd say an 8.29pm Sunset is still pretty good! It reached an uncharacteristically high temperature of 26C here today! Yep, quite concerning that we're getting temperatures this warm during August and are expected to again on Wednesday (I think). We're supposed to still be in Winter but Spring, if not Summer is already well and truly knocking on the door. Still no decent rain in the forecast for at least a week too.

No thanks. I want to enjoy Winter while it lasts! Yep, quite concerning that we're getting temperatures this warm during August and are expected to again on Wednesday (I think). We're supposed to still be in Winter but Spring, if not Summer is already well and truly knocking on the door.Still no decent rain in the forecast for at least a week too. I agree. It appears as though we are going to have a very hot, dry Summer, which really isn't what we need at the present time.

Yep, but the sun sets earlier in the winter, so it's a trade-off. 11th August High: 27°C / Low: 18°C. Mostly sunny. Biked 18km. 12th August High: 27°C / Low: 18°C. Mostly sunny. Biked 38km. 13th August High: 27°C / Low: 20°C. Mostly cloudy.

That wouldn't make sense. Reese Witherspoon was a smart blonde. That's unless she was singing it to imply she wasn't a dumb blonde. But on-topic, I heard about the drought in New South Wales on the news today. It must be pretty bad if it's making international news! It said something about the region having it driest year since 1965.

15th August High: 32°C / Low: 19°C. Mix of sun and clouds. Humid (dewpoint: 21°C). No signs of the early autumn in the middle of August the Weather Network was talking about back in June. Good! Although, knowing Canadian weather, the start of season changes always comes abruptly rather than gradually. I'm going to hope this sort of weather continues.

Its been really cold here this week, around 15C highs and 10C lows. Although it might not seem that cold, the constant wind and rain has made it feel like 10 time colder.
