Uh, it's not that big of a deal when you're always sleeping with the air conditioner on. AC? Do you mean heater? Or are you setting your room temperature to 10°C?  I mean, 9 or 10 C is still in the same ballpark as 16 or 17 C IMO.

You can easily wear shorts and a short sleeve shirt in 16c. Being a Sydneysider, I can confirm that people here reach for the jackets and long sleeve shirts when the daytime maximum temperatures are below 20°C!

^ I would melt if I wore a jacket at 20°C  23rd October High: 9°C / Low: 0°C (windchill: -4°C). Heavy intermittent rain. Wet snow overnight. Autumn is finally starting in downtown Toronto. I could have taken a nicer shot than this further up the highway, unfortunately my battery fell below 5%.  Really scenic drive this time of year!

Autumn is finally starting in downtown Toronto. I could have taken a nicer shot than this further up the highway, unfortunately my battery fell below 5%. Really scenic drive this time of year! The photo you took still turned out really nice.

They do have cold winters in Korea, why did everyone I saw wear long sleeves and jackets at 16 C?

Being a Sydneysider, I can confirm that people here reach for the jackets and long sleeve shirts when the daytime maximum temperatures are below 20°C! They do have cold winters in Korea, why did everyone I saw wear long sleeves and jackets at 16 C? Because it's autumn (fashion). I wore my Jean jacket and long sleeve shirt when it hit 16c a few days ago.

You have to feel sorry for Queenslanders; Brisbane reached an uncharacteristically high maximum temperature of 34C today! That's well above average for Spring and the month of October. Down here in Wollongong, it was a partly cloudy day and reached a top temperature of 20C.

You have to feel sorry for Queenslanders; Brisbane reached an uncharacteristically high maximum temperature of 34C today! That's well above average for Spring and the month of October. Down here in Wollongong, it was a partly cloudy day and reached a top temperature of 20C. Warm spring days are the best though! 25th October High: 8°C / Low: 3°C (windchill -1°). Mix of sun and clouds. Scenic drive on the way to my hometown (Hamilton). Sorry for the overexposed shots, the sun got in the way  26th October High: 7°C / Low: 3°C (windchill: -2°). Mostly cloudy. Chance of mixed percipitation (rain+snow) tonight.
