This is inspired by the thread aja675 created about classifying members based on school stereotypes. How would you describe yourself during your time at school?
Personally, I was the quiet, reserved kid who had a close-circle of friends and unique hobbies/interests. In primary school, I would often read astronomy and weather books on the bus to school. I picked a book of mine from home, put it in my school bag and took it with me to school. If I finished my work in class early, I often wrote creative writing stories in a spare exercise book that I owned (if I remember, I will share a few of them on here). They're kind of depressing, in retrospect, because a lot of the stories revolved around death. For instance, when I was in Year 5 (I was 11), I wrote a story about a daredevil motorbike rider who rode down a mountain, but they crashed on the way down and died. All throughout my time in school, I was always under the mindset that I was a bit of an outcast (namely because I liked things that the majority of the other kids didn't), but in actual fact, I was well-liked by my peers and I was thankfully never really bullied by anyone. I only received the odd one or two nasty comments, but that was very rare and I wouldn't consider it to be bullying, because it wasn't consistent. I was almost voted as the SRC representative for my class in Year 3; I missed out by one vote and that vote was made by my teacher. As you could imagine, I was really peeved off at that.

I went back-and-forth between attitudes. In prechool I was an hyperactive and super extravert child, then in elementary I was much more calmed down. I wasn't neceresarily shy, but more like know-it-all, hyper-curious and just overall super nerdy come to think of it. In middle school, I was still kind of nerdy, into edgy things and most-of-all pretty damn shy and silent. In the first two years of high school I was more of a loud-mouthed joker with much more of an attitude. Then in the later years I was more laid-back, kind of depressed, reserved and cynical but still enjoying making fun of stuff.
Kind of fun to look back at your past growing.

I was shy back in early elementary and didn't make a lot of friends until about 2nd grade. During 2nd-4th grade I was extroverted and always seeking out to learn something new everyday. By 5th grade, I calmed down a bit and started preparing for middle school, but I was still an extrovert until I started middle school. My elementary friends were in different classes and hallways, so I didn't see them often. I made new friends during my first couple years of middle school, and now I'm more of an ambivert than anything else. I talk to my old friends every now and then. I'm not the popular girl but who cares?

Strangely reminiscent of me on here. The entire "being unable to shut up about Internet drama and Internet boys" thingy, that was me at 17-19.

I was nerdy. Extremely quiet, due to my undiagnosed social anxiety disorder, to the point I could go days without talking. People were sometimes shocked if they heard me talking or laughing, they would say "You can talk?!" I got picked on a lot, and had only a few friends, not all of whom would be in my classes, so I was often a loner. It got better during my last year of high school though. I was getting treatment for my anxiety, and I became more talkative and had many more friends. Never stopped being a nerd though What's amusing to me though is that in my last year of high school, many people told me they were scared of me and thought the reason I didn't talk to them and only talked to a select group of people (my friends), was because I was elitist/snobbish and looked down on everyone. Funny that, I was scared of them! I guess that was the impression I gave off.

Intelligent and didn't fit in. Same, but I brainwashed myself into thinking I was shallower than I was.

Shy and quiet, however, by the end of my first High School I was (sort of) outgoing, but I guess if I know you, than that's me. However, when i went to my new school, even with people I knew, I became very Shy & Quiet again.

I'm loner ever since I was little ... I had a really hard time in school when I was younger, I never mixed in with the other kids and the first thing people would always ask me was "why are you so quiet" or "why do you look so sad". I never really had close friends or anything, when I was like 10 or so I really wanted friends, but after that I just didn't care anymore
A few years back I didn't go to school a lot, I spent some time in the hospital and I was just in a bad place ... My anxiety got so bad I just shut up to everyone, I didn't talk to anyone and I would write my response on a notebook if my classmates or teachers asked me anything.
Well, I'm not exactly in school anymore but I'm on break from classes right now In class, I guess, it's kinda better People still see me as a loner but at least I can show them who's boss when it comes to projects and grades
