www.theguardian.com/music/2018/jul/20/definitely-maybe-liam-tells-noel-he-doesnt-look-back-in-anger-and-urges-oasis-reunionLiam Gallagher has reportedly urged his brother Noel to consider an Oasis reunion. It will be interesting to see what comes of it and if the band will in fact reunite. Just out of curiosity, what is your opinion of Oasis? Do you like any of their songs? I actually like Oasis, even though I don't own any of their albums. While they may have been too reliant on their Beatles influences at times (which isn't necessarily a bad thing, IMO), they did have a unique sound. My favourite songs of theirs would be "Some Might Say", "Champagne Supernova", "Go Let It Out", "Supersonic", "Roll With It" and "Live Forever". I personally think "Wonderwall" is really overrated and if i'm being honest, I think it's one of their worst songs.

I love Oasis. My favourite song of theirs would probably be Supersonic, which was actually their debut single, and IMO their most underrated song. Not sure what to expect if they reunite though, as none of the band's music released after their second album has been that good.

It's easily on par with the singles off What's The Story, Morning Glory, in my opinion. In regards to them reuniting, that's generally the viewpoint I have as well. The only "post-What's The Story" song I like is "Go Let It Out", but even it isn't to the same high standard as their earlier singles.

My favorite song they did is Morning Glory. Supposedly the song is about drug use, not sure how true that is. The song Wonderwall often gets parodied as Wonderbra.

In regards to the lyrics of the song, even though it is widely suspected that "Morning Glory" is about drug use, i'm not sure if it has ever actually been confirmed. Apparently Noel Gallagher wrote the song while he was drunk, so it's possible that the lyrics may not have any real meaning.

Not sure if anyone here is familiar with this song, but this is quite easily one of my favourite songs from Oasis. It was released as a B-side to "Some Might Say", so "Headshrinker" never made it onto an album. I discovered it a few months ago after reading reviews of Oasis' singles on Rate Your Music. I'm glad that I did! I love how energetic and hard-hitting the song is.

Great band! Champagne Supernova, Live Forever, Morning Glory and Stand By Me are my favourites from them. I echo the sentiments that Wonderwall is overrated, apparently that song is a meme now for some reason.
Champagne Supernova was Liam's vocal peak IMO, the way he sings that song is unbelievable.
