A thread for the discussion of the popular Rockstar series, Grand Theft Auto. GTA 5 is one of my favourite games. Mind you, I never have any in-game money to spend on anything. Yesterday, I only had $30 in game.

Lol GTA 5 is one of my favourite games too. Do you own or have played any of the others games in the series? I like San Andreas in particular, It was one of my favourite games during my childhood aswell

I like San Andreas in particular, It was one of my favourite games during my childhood aswell Yeah I have. I have played San Andreas, Vice City, GTA IV and the GTA IV sequels (Ballad of Gay Tony etc.). To be honest, I only started to play the GTA series when I was 14. I wasn't allowed to play them when I was a kid. San Andreas is pretty good, but I can't really appreciate it, because I only bought the game when I was 16 and the graphics look really outdated now. Have you played GTA IV before?

The expansion packs were what I meant when I said I played the game lol, and the one I liked playing was "The Ballad of Gay Tony" aswell, I don't think I've played the other ones as much.

The expansion packs were what I meant when I said I played the game lol, and the one I liked playing was "The Ballad of Gay Tony" aswell, I don't think I've played the other ones as much. Haha. "The Lost and Damned" is pretty good as well, although the storyline isn't as good IMO. To be honest, whenever I play GTA, I very rarely ever do the missions. I pretty much only play it for multiplayer or just to drive around shooting people.

There's speculation that this year's Christmas Update could be the last update for GTA 5. It's possible, given that 2018 will mark five years since the game was released!

I love GTA. I have find memeories of playing it with my family. I have the original GTA games on my old PS1 and San Andreas on my PS2. I always wanted to get the newer ones but I never got a PS3 or 4, I stopped at 2 😂
San Andreas will always be a classic and a personal best though.
Here's some of my fav radio stations also XD

I've been playing GTA since I was 5  . I was playing GTA San Andreas just after it came out with some friends at this older kids house, I think my mum knew that the game was sort of violent but she didn't realise exactly. I used to play all the GTA games at my friends house becasue his mum didn't seem to care. Age 5? That's very young!  You're lucky that your Mum didn't realise what the games were really like! I love GTA. I have find memeories of playing it with my family. I have the original GTA games on my old PS1 and San Andreas on my PS2. Love GTA! I’ve played all released titles since the first one I owned in GTA III. I love listening to the radio stations, too! ‘Chatterbox’ and ‘Flashback’ FM are my favs.

Love GTA! I’ve played all released titles since the first one I owned in GTA III. I love listening to the radio stations, too! ‘Chatterbox’ and ‘Flashback’ FM are my favs. I've never listened to those stations, but that's because I have never played GTA III.  I don't really have any favourite stations, however if I had to pick some, I would probably choose Los Santos Rock Radio and Non-Stop Pop FM in GTA V. Liberty Rock Radio on GTA IV wasn't bad either.

Which one did you start playing from? I never played the first couple but have played all since the III. Some of the instalments I never actually got around to fully completing (probably never will now unfortunately).

I started from GTA IV. Funnily enough, I was only allowed to start playing GTA when I was 14. My Mum thought the series was too violent (which it is, to be honest) and even after I was allowed to start playing GTA, she still didn't like the idea of me playing it. The only installment I have completed is "The Ballad of Gay Tony", which is an expansion release of GTA IV. I can never really be bothered completing the storylines/missions. That’s weird, my parents were usually strict about other things when I was younger, but when it came to gaming they never worried about putting restrictions on suitable gaming for my age for some reason (maybe they just didn’t understand or something so they never cared about it). Anyways, the only ones I completed (side missions and all) were GTA III, GTA Vice City and the Liberty City and Vice City Stories (these two seperate games). I think GTA San Andreas was the one I least completed, as it was ridiculously difficult and quite a number of the missions were frickin bitches to complete.
